As a behaviour coach I work through structured sessions tailored to each individual's needs. Every situation is different and each individual that I work with has a different need, so all sessions have to be tailored in order for the individual to gain the most positive and productive outcome.
Some sessions might be more about staying focused within lessons and on tasks; others might have more of a focus on behaviour or making better decisions. After each session there is always time for reflection about the week before and events that may have occurred. They can be good or bad but will be open for reflection so we can work through what could be done differently or what went well.
It is vitally important that a toolbox of strategies is created so that these can be used on the days going forward after each session.
